Céfira Brand & Packaging Concept

This project presents the identity and packaging design for Céfira, a children’s hair care brand created to support everyday routines and outdoor activities. The proposal aims to turn hair care into a positive and enjoyable experience, communicating softness, safety, and trust for both children and parents.

Based on target audience research and brand values, the visual system is built around the concepts of care, nature, and happiness. A rounded script typeface, a vibrant color palette inspired by wind and freshness, and an animated-style illustrated universe create a friendly, playful, and memorable identity, aligned with children’s visual language and designed to stand out at the point of sale.

Céfira’s identity system was developed based on the client brief, which emphasizes gentleness, safety, and fun in children’s hair care products. A rounded handrawn script typeface was selected for the brand, to convey friendliness and approachability, while a vibrant purple-based color palette reinforces a sense of freshness, movement, and playful energy inspired by wind and outdoor activities.

Animated-style illustrations and child-friendly characters act as key elements of the system, creating strong visual engagement with the target audience. Layouts prioritize clarity and legibility to ensure essential information is easily understood, while the overall visual language supports a joyful, positive, and trustworthy experience for both children and parents.

This academic project involved building a brand from scratch, developing its visual identity and translating it into functional packaging solutions. It strengthened skills related to brand conceptualization, value definition, and the creation of a coherent visual system for a children-focused audience.

The work also emphasized technical aspects of packaging design, including die-cut development, information hierarchy, legibility, and graphic adaptation to three-dimensional formats, reinforcing packaging as a critical communication and user experience tool.
